By registering for or participating in the Ironman 70.3 Singapore event, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and the event organizers.

2. Event Participation

2.1 Eligibility Requirements

Participants must:

• Be at least 18 years of age on race day
• Provide valid medical clearance from a qualified physician
• Demonstrate adequate swimming ability
• Complete all required registration forms and waivers
• Pay all applicable fees

2.2 Health and Safety

Participants acknowledge that triathlon events involve inherent risks. All participants must be in good physical condition and should consult with a medical professional before participating. The event organizers reserve the right to remove any participant who poses a safety risk to themselves or others.

3. Registration and Fees

3.1 Registration Process

Registration must be completed through official channels only. Participants are responsible for providing accurate and complete information during registration.

3.2 Payment Terms

All registration fees must be paid in full at the time of registration. Fees are non-refundable except in cases of event cancellation by the organizers.

3.3 Transfers and Deferrals

Registration transfers between participants may be permitted subject to additional fees and administrative approval. Deferrals to future events may be considered under exceptional circumstances.

4. Event Rules and Regulations

4.1 Race Rules

All participants must adhere to official race rules, including but not limited to:

• Equipment requirements and restrictions
• Course boundaries and safety protocols
• Time limits and cut-off times
• Anti-doping policies
• Conduct and sportsmanship standards

4.2 Disqualification

The event organizers reserve the right to disqualify any participant who violates race rules, demonstrates unsportsmanlike conduct, or poses a safety risk.

5. Liability and Risk

5.1 Assumption of Risk

Participants acknowledge and assume all risks associated with triathlon competition, including but not limited to:

• Physical injury or illness
• Equipment failure or loss
• Weather-related hazards
• Course conditions and obstacles
• Contact with other participants or vehicles

5.2 Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the event organizers, sponsors, and affiliated parties shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from participation in the event.

6. Event Modifications and Cancellation

6.1 Event Changes

The event organizers reserve the right to modify the event format, course, schedule, or other aspects due to weather, safety concerns, or other circumstances beyond their control.

6.2 Cancellation Policy

In the event of cancellation, participants will be notified as soon as possible. Refund policies will be communicated at the time of cancellation.

7. Intellectual Property

Participants grant the event organizers permission to use their name, image, and likeness in connection with the event for promotional and marketing purposes. All event materials, including logos and course designs, are the property of the organizers.

8. Privacy and Data Protection

Personal information collected during registration and the event will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Participants consent to the collection and use of their information for event administration and communication.

9. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these terms or event participation shall be resolved through binding arbitration in Singapore, governed by Singapore law.

10. Modifications to Terms

These terms may be updated periodically. Participants will be notified of significant changes, and continued participation constitutes acceptance of modified terms.
